Are there any restrictions on who can hire the horsebox?

The Equiport Horsebox is insured to be driven by drivers between the ages of 22 and 75 who have held a full UK or EU driving licence for a minimum of two years.

You must have at least two years’ recent driving experience of a motor vehicle in the United Kingdom.

You must NOT have been convicted of an offence in connection with the driving of a motor vehicle or motorcycle and/or have had your driving licence suspended or endorsed with more than 6 penalty points within 5 years of the hire date.

We are unable to hire the horsebox to undergraduates or students under the age of 25.
